Speculation

Does anyone think that there's a code we're not finding? The whole thing can't be a red herring. I know the game continued with Clown travel agency, but consider this. The secret letters had to do with articles in the gotham times. Maybe the letters also double as clues for finding the secret code!

Does anyone think there might be a connection between the Sweaters to the editor and the blue sweater found at Dana Worthington's campaign office? Red herring, blue sweater... red+blue=purple, but I don't know if that string of thoughts means anything. Green cabs perhaps? Any colors I'm missing? These 3 seem to all be joker colors. Also, there are a lot of food references in this issue. Pie, cake, lamb fish, Salisbury steak, butter. And soft serve is a circled word.
